Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offered spacious and very clean rooms with complimentary facilities, although they overlooked derelict buildings. My room was ready even late at night, providing a luxurious and large space for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a very satisfactory standard of service. The location was great for exploring the town, with a lovely charm despite the busy street. The dining experience, while individually cooked and fresh, was a bit pricey compared to other hotels. The hotel's facilities were convenient and well-maintained.
The hotel provided mixed experiences. The rooms were equipped with tea and coffee facilities and a phone for convenience; however, the heating system was inconsistent, often blowing out cold air, and the noise outside disturbed our sleep. Additionally, the uncomfortable twin beds with hard mattresses and pillows didn't make for a restful stay. Despite being charged for breakfast that was supposedly included, the cold tap ran hot water, which was a letdown.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were big, spacious, and clean, which was great. However, the check-in time was extremely delayed, affecting my overall experience. The service was very welcoming and accommodating. The location was convenient for my needs but not in the best surroundings. The dining experience was a bit lacking in terms of value for money. Overall, a somewhat enjoyable stay with room for improvement.
The hotel surprised me with a room larger than expected, although not as advertised. It was shabby but had a balcony for relaxing under the stars. The service was amazing and highly helpful, available 24/7. The location was excellent, opposite the Train station, near a car park and a short walk to the town center. Dining was of poor quality and overpriced. Facilities were basic.
I stayed at this hotel and found it to be comfortable, but there were a few things that could have been better. The room was decent, but I wish there were more tea bags available. I paid extra for air conditioning, which was a bit pricey at £20, and the breakfast left much to be desired with a poor taste. Overall, I wouldn't choose to return based on my experience.
